Chelsea’s Struggles Continue: Wolves Dominate in 4-2 Victory

Chelsea’s recent struggles under manager Mauricio Pochettino have been well documented, and their latest defeat against Wolves only added to their woes.

A 4-2 loss at home to Wolves has put Pochettino’s job in jeopardy as Chelsea’s form continues to spiral downward.

With a crucial clash against title rivals Arsenal on the horizon, the pressure is mounting on the Blues to turn things around.

Chelsea got off to a promising start when Cole Palmer scored in the 19th minute, but their lead was short-lived. Wolves quickly equalized through a deflected Matheus Cunha strike just three minutes later.

The first half ended with an own goal from Chelsea defender Axel Disasi in the 43rd minute, leaving the Blues trailing 2-1 at the break.

The second half saw Wolves extend their lead when Pedro Neto set up Matheus Cunha for his second goal of the match in the 63rd minute. As Chelsea’s frustration grew, so did the pressure on Pochettino.

The final nail in the coffin came in the 82nd minute when Cunha completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot after being fouled by Malo Gusto.

Chelsea managed to pull one back in the 86th minute through Thiago Silva, but it was too little too late as Wolves secured a 4-2 victory.

Chelsea’s dismal performance against Wolves has left their fans frustrated and calling for a change in management. With a tough run of fixtures ahead, including a League Cup final against Liverpool, the pressure is mounting on Pochettino to turn things around.

The Blues’ season hangs in the balance as they face the prospect of falling further down the table and missing out on silverware.
