BSM distributes hand sanitizers, sensitizes the public on CONVID -19

A socio-cultural organisation based in Edo State, the Benin Solidarity Movement (BSM), has joined the league of people of goodwill to distribute free hand sanitizers and sensitize Nigerians on the need to adhere strictly to preventive measures to curtail the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.

Speaking to newsmen on the significance of the programme, President of the organisation, Comrade Curtis Eghosa Ugbo said that the Coronavirus pandemic is a worldwide affair that can only be conquered by the efforts of all and sundry noting that the programme was just a first part of a three-part programme that will stretch for a period of two weeks.

Comrade Ugbo who stated that taking preventive measures is key to curtailing the spread of the virus noted that these are extraordinary times requiring extraordinary approach.

“The Benin Solidarity Movement is seizing this opportunity to challenge politicians and political office holders to hasten up and reach out to people in these extraordinary times.

History will record any positive step they take in this direction as a plus to the existence of humanity “.
