Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the PRP national chairman, says he'll work hard to remove President Tinubu in 2027. He made this declaration during an appearance on Channels Television's Sunday Politics programme.

Baba-Ahmed believes Tinubu represents bad news for Nigeria's future. He's convinced the ruling APC can be defeated in the next general election.

"I will work to get Tinubu out of place because I think he is bad news for Nigeria's future," the party leader stated. He added that unseating Tinubu sits at the core of PRP's political mission.

He didn't suggest the PRP alone could remove the president from office. Rather, he noted the party plans to play a major role in any effort to achieve this goal.

According to him, Tinubu has damaged the nation significantly. "He has messed up this country.

He has made life miserable, more insecure," Baba-Ahmed told the television audience.

Nigerians are deeply unhappy with the current administration, he argued. Most citizens recognize the country's dire state, and so does Tinubu himself.

"Half the work has already been done," Baba-Ahmed noted. He meant that public dissatisfaction with the government was already substantial.

What remains is for opposition leaders to unite their efforts. In his view, they must set aside personal ambitions and competing interests.

Baba-Ahmed called on political heavyweights to combine their resources and energy. He stressed that stopping internal squabbles over positions matters less than changing the government in 2027.

Unity among opposition figures, he insisted, represents the pathway forward. Only through such cooperation could they hope to unseat Tinubu.
