Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has completed a move to Deportivo La Coruna from Marseille on a deal running through 2028, the Spanish club confirmed on Friday. The Gabon striker departs Ligue 1 despite having twelve months left on his existing contract after contributing 44 goals across 92 appearances.
Aubameyang, 37, rejoined Marseille in 2025 following a stint at Saudi Arabia's Al-Qadsiah, having initially signed in summer 2023. "His career demonstrates exceptional consistency at the highest level," Deportivo said in a statement.
The forward's resume includes stints at Arsenal, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund across Europe's top leagues. He also had a brief spell at Barcelona four years ago, netting 13 goals in 24 matches during his six-month period there.
Deportivo La Coruna, back in La Liga after eight seasons away, secured the experienced striker as they look to establish themselves in Spain's top division.
