Atiku directs support groups to back PDP candidates

Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate for the 2023 elections, has urged all his support groups to work hard for the party’s victory in the upcoming governorship elections in Bayelsa, Kogi, and Imo states.

This was contained in a statement released on Monday by Oladimeji Fabiyi, the leader of the Atiku Abubakar Support Groups. Atiku stressed the importance of securing the states for the PDP.

The statement said: “His Excellency Atiku Abubakar (Waziri Adamawa) GCON has instructed that all Atiku Support Groups with strong structures in Kogi, Bayelsa, and Imo states should activate their members to back the Peoples Democratic Party in these respective states.

“Members should ensure that they use all their resources to vote for the party’s candidates, His Excellency, Sen. Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State, Sen. Sam Anyanwu (Sam Daddy) of Imo State, and Sen. Dino Daniel Melaye of Kogi State.

“His Excellency Atiku Abubakar also highlighted the necessity of winning these states for the PDP. He expressed confidence that all three PDP flag bearers have the vision, relevant experience, and ability to lead the PDP in the forthcoming elections.”

Fabiyi noted that the former vice president said the PDP has presented formidable candidates with strong character, experience, and capacity to govern the state.
