Nigeria's ruling party announced its screening timetable for legislative hopefuls on Friday. Felix Morka, the APC's national spokesperson, made the disclosure in Abuja.

Senate candidates will face screening from May 9 to 10, 2026. The exercise takes place at Abuja Continental Hotel, starting at 10:00 a.m. each day.

House of Representatives aspirants get the same dates but different venue. Treasures Suites and Conferences in Abuja will host them, also beginning at 10:00 a.m. daily.

Party officials urged all candidates to arrive on time. They must bring all necessary documents and credentials to the screening.

The move comes ahead of the APC's primary elections. Aspirants have been preparing their campaigns across different states.
