APC Launches Governorship Campaign in Imo with VP Shettima and Chairman Ganduje

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially launched its governorship campaign in Imo State ahead of the November 18 election. The party’s flag bearer, Senator Hope Uzodinma, was presented to the people of the state at a mega rally held at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, the state capital, on Tuesday.

The vice president and the national chairman expressed their confidence in Uzodinma’s ability to deliver good governance and development to Imo State if elected. They urged the people of the state to vote massively for the APC and its candidates in the forthcoming election.

Shettima said that Uzodinma was a tested and trusted leader who had the experience and vision to transform Imo State. He said that the APC was committed to supporting him and ensuring that he emerged victorious at the polls.

Ganduje said that Uzodinma had proven himself as a loyal and dedicated member of the APC who deserved the support of the party and the people. He said that Uzodinma had a clear agenda and manifesto that would address the challenges facing Imo State and improve the welfare of its citizens.

Uzodinma, in his acceptance speech, thanked the vice president, the national chairman, and the governors for their endorsement and solidarity. He also thanked the people of Imo State for their overwhelming support and enthusiasm. He promised to run an inclusive and responsive government that would restore the glory of Imo State.

He said that his administration would focus on security, infrastructure, education, health, agriculture, youth empowerment, and job creation. He also pledged to fight corruption, ensure accountability, and respect the rule of law.

He appealed to all Imo people to come out en masse on November 18 and vote for him and all APC candidates. He said that with their votes, they would secure a brighter future for themselves and their children.

The rally was attended by thousands of APC supporters from all 27 local government areas in the state. They carried posters and banners of Uzodinma and other APC candidates. They also chanted slogans and songs in support of the party and its flag bearer.

The rally was also graced by other dignitaries from within and outside Imo State, including senators, members of the House of Representatives, state legislators, local government chairmen, traditional rulers, religious leaders, women groups, youth groups, and civil society organizations.
