APC Appoints Six Governors as Zonal Coordinators to Strengthen Party Unity and Mobilization

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated six governors as zonal coordinators for the six geo-political zones of the country.
The governors were officially sworn-in on Wednesday by the party’s national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, at the APC national headquarters in Abuja.
The newly appointed zonal coordinators include Babajide Sanwo-Olu (south-west), Hope Uzodinma (south-east), Bassey Otu (south-south), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (north-central), Mai Mala Buni (north-east), and Uba Sani (north-west).
Their primary responsibilities include mobilizing governors within their zones to participate in party activities, consulting with governors on issues that will enhance party unity, assisting the party in resource mobilization, and engaging in other activities assigned by the party.
This development comes as the APC seeks to consolidate its position as Nigeria’s ruling party and foster a more cohesive and coordinated approach to governance across the nation.
By appointing experienced and influential governors as zonal coordinators, the party aims to strengthen its presence at the grassroots level and ensure that its policies and programs are effectively implemented in all regions of the country.
As Nigeria continues to grapple with a myriad of challenges, including economic growth, security, and social development, the APC’s decision to appoint zonal coordinators is a step towards addressing these issues more effectively and promoting a more unified and prosperous nation.
