Massimiliano Allegri will be Napoli's new manager, the Serie A club confirmed on Friday. The 58-year-old has agreed to a three-year deal running until 2029.
Allegri arrives after AC Milan terminated his contract following the club's failure to secure Champions League football. He previously spent time at both Juventus and Milan in his managerial career.
His appointment comes as nine Serie A clubs have switched managers this off-season. Atalanta Bergamo brought in Maurizio Sarri, while Fiorentina hired Fabio Grosso and AC Milan recruited Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim.
Antonio Conte departs Napoli after steering the club to the Serie A title in the 2024/25 season. The former Italy coach is now being linked with the vacant national team job, which he previously held between 2014 and 2016.
