‘Akeredolu’s Legacies Should Continue’ – Betty Reveals Message to Tinubu During Condolence Visit

Former First Lady of Ondo State, Betty Akeredolu, shared an important message with President Bola Tinubu during his condolence visit to the family of the late ex-governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

The visit took place in Akure, where Betty expressed her gratitude to the President and urged him to ensure that Akeredolu’s legacies continue and are built upon.

During the visit, Betty described the President as Akeredolu’s brother and friend, emphasizing the strong bond between the two.

She also extended her appreciation to the Southern Governors for their financial contributions to the burial, particularly to Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-olu, who played a significant role in bringing Akeredolu’s remains back to Nigeria.

The former First Lady acknowledged the cultural implications that prevented the President from attending the burial ceremony, but she was grateful for his presence during the condolence visit.

She emphasized that Akeredolu’s legacies live on and should be continued and built upon.
