Aisha Yesufu, a prominent activist, has sarcastically congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the current state of Nigeria’s economy, accusing him of successfully driving Nigerians into poverty.
According to Yesufu, under the current administration, many citizens can no longer afford basic needs due to rising prices.
In her statement, Yesufu claimed, “Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing very well in throwing people into poverty.
Many can no longer afford the basics in Nigeria.” She continued with a mocking tone, “Congratulations Tinubu! You are doing very well!”
She further criticized the President by suggesting that his administration’s policies may lead Nigerians to recognize that the poverty affecting them is a more significant issue than the divisions caused by tribe and religion.
