John Mary Idoko polled 599 votes. Fred Apoch finished last with 438 votes.
Party officials declared Anthony the winner after collating all results. He'll represent the APC in the 2027 House of Representatives race.
In his speech, Anthony thanked delegates and party members who supported him. He promised inclusive leadership and better development for the three communities.
The candidate vowed to deliver effective representation to constituents. He said he'd focus on sustainable projects across the federal constituency.
But Okoriko rejected the primary results. He alleged the exercise was marred by irregularities and misconduct.
