Nigeria's African Democratic Congress wants the ruling APC government to improve citizens' quality of life. Party chairman David Mark made this call Saturday during a NEC meeting in Abuja.
Mark pressed all government levels to do more against insecurity across the country. He challenged party leaders and members to unite behind a vision for stronger, more inclusive governance.
"We urge governments at all levels to tackle insecurity decisively," the former Senate President stated. "Policies that make life meaningful for Nigerians must be our priority," he added.
Mark warned against tendencies that could undermine collective commitment to national progress. Personal ambition shouldn't trump party interests, he stressed.
"Strong political parties rest on values and institutions, not just individuals," Mark noted. History demonstrates this principle clearly, he insisted.
