Abuja: Wike’s Unwavering Commitment to Timely Project Delivery

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has emphasized the importance of timely project delivery and quality assurance in Abuja.

The minister’s unwavering commitment to these goals is evident in his regular and unannounced visits to project sites in the area.

During his recent inspection of ongoing road projects in Guzape and the full-scale development of the arterial road ‘N20’ at Jahi District, Wike reiterated the significance of contractors delivering on time and meeting the expected quality standards.

The N20 road connects the Northern Parkway (Shehu Musa Yar’adua Expressway) and the Outer Northern Expressway (Murtala Mohammed Expressway).

Wike’s consistent visits to project sites ensure that contractors stay on their toes and follow through on their commitments.

The minister expressed satisfaction with the progress made in the Guzape diplomatic zone and the N20 road, noting that the work done since his last visit was significant.

With contractors promising to deliver most of the projects by May, the minister is determined to maintain close supervision to ensure that these promises are fulfilled.

The ultimate goal is to complete the projects and hand them over to the public as soon as possible.

Wike’s dedication to the timely and quality completion of projects in the Federal Capital Territory is a commendable step towards ensuring that the development of Abuja remains on track.

The minister’s hands-on approach to project monitoring and his unwavering commitment to the public interest serve as a model for other government officials to follow.
