Abia State Governor Otti Commits to Audit and Infrastructure Development in Town Hall Meeting

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has reiterated his commitment to using the state’s resources for the benefit of the people, rather than sharing money among government officials.
Otti made this statement during a town hall meeting with the five local government areas in Abia North Senatorial District, as part of activities to mark his one year in office.
During the meeting, Otti emphasized that his administration is working hard to address the infrastructural needs of the various zones in Abia State.
He also stated that he would submit himself to audit by the time he was done with his governorship, demonstrating his dedication to transparency and accountability.
Otti further highlighted the importance of the town hall meeting, as it allowed him to interact with the people and understand their needs and concerns.
He expressed his gratitude to the people of the Abia North senatorial zone for their support, which led to his electoral victory last year.
The governor assured the attendees that his administration is focused and poised to change the narrative across the board, despite facing obvious challenges.
He also announced that his government will commence visits to local government councils in the state next month to assess the areas and better understand the needs of the communities.
