2019: Forum passes vote of confidence on Okowa, promises to buy nomination form for him

Forum of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmen in Delta State from 2008 to 2016 have unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the state governor, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa and also endorsed him for a second tenure come 2019. 

In a 4 point communiqué issued at the end of its meeting at Agbor, the group expressed satisfaction with the performance of the governor in the overall administration of the state.

In the communique signed by Engr. Dan Ossai, the forum particularly acknowledged the monumental multi-sectoral development projects being executed by the state government across the state.

The forum therefore expressed its full support for the second term bid of the governor come 2019 and as a demonstration of its commitment to the project, the group offered to purchase the second term Governorship Nomination form for Governor Okowa.

It also unanimously resolved that Chief Godwin Ogadi should lead the forum in all its political engagements.

Meanwhile, an enlarged General Meeting of all past PDP Chairmen from 1998 to 2016 has been slated for the 1st of March, 2018 at Keziah Hotel Agbor.
