The Senator representing Delta Central senatorial district at the National Assembly, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege has urged Urhobo people to support the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari and Chief Great Ogboru for governor come 2019.

Senator Ovie Omo Agege speaking at the meeting

Omo-Agege stated this during the inauguration of “Agege Again” at Jesse, Ethiope West and Ughelli, Ughelli North Local government area, noted that if Deltans vote for APC in the 2019, the fortune of the state will change.

According to him, with the amendment to the electoral acts which now makes the use of Card Reader compulsory, the days of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the PDP are numbered in Delta State.

Omo-Agege added that PDP can only win election in Delta through rigging and by compromising electoral officials and security agencies, stressed that with Card Reader, PDP game in the state is up.

While charging APC faithfuls to go to their units and mobilize more voters to join the party, he stated that the 2019 elections will be won at the unit level.

He assured them that APC will win the governorship election come 2019 because the party will present a candidate that can win the election and stop PDP over 18 years of reign of impunity.

In his word, “come 2019 APC must field someone who can win election for us, and as far as am concern, Chief Great Ogboru is the only man that can defeats Okowa and win governorship election for us.

“Delta state is the epicenter of election rigging, the PDP has never won any election in Delta fairly, we know their game and we will ensure that they are booted out this time around, but you must do your parts by mobilising more people for APC.

So, am urging you to continue to support for Senate, Ogboru for governor and President Buhari for president, this is our choice,” he added.
