VP Shettima Assures Nigerians of Bountiful Harvests Amid Economic Reforms

In a gathering organized by President Bola Tinubu for members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) and services chiefs, Vice President Kashim Shettima assured Nigerians that the nation would soon reap bountiful harvests despite the current economic hardships.

Speaking at the fast-breaking evening meal for Muslims during Ramadan, Shettima acknowledged the difficulties faced by many Nigerians due to the economic reforms introduced by the new administration.

However, he emphasized that President Tinubu’s determination to salvage the nation would ultimately lead to sustained growth.

The Vice President called on all appointees to rally around the President and support his efforts to restore peace and stability in the country.

He reminded them that leadership requires commitment, sacrifice, and tenacity of purpose, and that President Tinubu has shown his willingness to face the challenges head-on.

Shettima also highlighted the importance of Ramadan as a season of forgiveness and generosity, which coincides with the lent season, emphasizing the unity of different faiths.

Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for the Iftar and prayed for him, asking God to answer his earnest prayers.
