Unemployed man docked for allegedly stealing aluminium window frames

A 23-year-old unemployed man, Monday Samuel, was on Thursday docked in an Ikorodu Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly stealing an  aluminum window frames.

Samuel, whose address was not given is charged with conspiracy, burglary and felony to wit theft.

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Prosecution Counsel, DSP Gbemileke Agoi, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on April 12 at about 2a.m. in Ikorodu, Lagos.

Agoi said the defendant with others at large, broke into the house of Mr Tosin Ibigbemi and stole aluminum frames  worth N620,000.

The offence, he said, contravenes the provision sof sections 411, 308, 307 and 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

Chief Magistrate A.B Olagbegi-Adelabu admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N200, 000 and one surety in like sum.

Olagbegi-Adelabu, ordered that the address of the surety must be verified..

She adjourned the case until May 18 for mention.
