Works Minister Dave Umahi says President Tinubu represents what the South-East has been seeking. He made the claim during an APC presidential primary event in Ebonyi State.
Umahi argued that Tinubu has brought the entire region into Nigeria's political mainstream. According to him, the President has delivered substantial appointments to South-Easterners.
"Tinubu is the Biafra we have been looking for," Umahi declared at the gathering. He noted the President had also provided critical infrastructure projects to the zone.
In his words: "A man who has given us juicy appointments and a man who has given us very important infrastructure. Bola Tinubu on your mandate we shall stand."
Umahi's endorsement comes as the APC continues mobilizing support across South-Eastern states. His comments signal the party's confidence in retaining backing from the region.
