Toka Gamaliel alleged mastermind of oil pipeline vandal in Niger Delta where about unknown

Two years after security agencies in Nigeria operating in the Niger Delta region lunched a manhunt for Comrade Toka Gamaliel ,the alleged mastermind of oil pipeline vandalism in Oginibo community in Delta State, his were about still unknown according to security source.

It would be recalled that on September 1^st, 2015, Gamaliel, a freedom fighter and one of leader of the proscribed Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta, MEND, was among those the JTF operating in the Niger Delta declared wanted as alleged mastermind of oil pipeline vandal.

The military had raided the Oginibo community following the rising wave of oil pipeline vandalism on September 1^st, 2015, in search of militant leaders behind the crime however, he was not arrested and his where about has since remained unknown to the family and JTF, the source added.

It was also reported in the media sometimes in November 2016, when Gamaliel went underground and the men of JTF were hunting for him and others in order to bring them to face justice.

However, our source added that Comrade Toka Gamaliel may have been a victim of system which want to suppress any strong voice against the mindless exploitation and criminal neglect of the Niger Delta region by successive Nigeria government.
