Tinubu’s Support Group Cries Neglect, Warns of Consequences in Upcoming Election

Farmers Movement for Jagaban 2023, a political support group that worked for the emergence of Bola Tinubu as the President of Nigeria, has recently expressed disappointment and frustration over being neglected by the President and his administration.

The group claims that their efforts in securing the President’s victory have been ignored, and instead, members of opposition parties have been appointed to various positions.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the group’s National Coordinator, Rilwan Ahmed, warned that another presidential election is near and that they would remind the public of the President’s failed reward system.

Ahmed also criticized the President’s appointment of individuals from Lagos, Osun, and Rivers states, who embraced opposition parties and did not contribute to his victory.

The statement also highlighted the group’s disappointment in Vice President Kashim Shettima, who they claimed had been shielding its members from getting their rewards from President Tinubu.

The group accused the President and Vice President of rewarding undeserving individuals and politicians who had no value.

The Farmers Movement for Jagaban 2023 emphasized that the support groups, Presidential Campaign Council members, and foot soldiers of Asiwaju were not useless, as they had worked tirelessly to secure the President’s victory.

They demanded recognition and rewards for their efforts, warning that another election is in three years and that they would not be silent about the President’s neglect of his supporters.
