Folashade Tinubu-Ojo has rejected the outcomes of last week's APC primary elections across parts of Lagos State. The President's daughter made her position clear during a meeting with market leaders and stakeholders at her Alausa office in Ikeja.

She accused party officials of rigging the primaries to benefit one faction within the APC. Three specific contests came under fire: Mushin Federal Constituency II, Agege Constituency II, and Ojokoro.

According to her, Seye Oladejo, Mutiu Olaide Oladeebo, and Olotu Ojo were the true victors in those races. The announced results, she insisted, didn't match what party members actually voted for.

"We are ready to protest because we know they won this election," she told the gathering. "Their mandates should not be given to somebody else."

Tinubu-Ojo called on APC leadership at state and national levels to probe the disputed primaries. She urged them not to ratify results until investigations were complete.

Unresolved disputes could fracture the party further, she warned. This matters especially as the 2027 elections approach.

She threw her full weight behind Obafemi Hamzat's gubernatorial aspirations. Market women, she argued, form a crucial voting bloc in Lagos who deserve real power-sharing.

"We have to cry out now," she said, addressing internal party divisions. "Let the APC cancel Justice and Mandate Forums because our incoming governor belongs to the Justice Forum."

She noted that everyone now rushes to join the Justice Forum simply because Hamzat leads it. Lagosians deserve better, she argued, than watching hard work go unrewarded in politics.

"When he becomes governor, he will not be governor for APC alone," she added. "He has to balance things and lead both friends and opponents."

It's disheartening when Mandate Forum winners suddenly jump ship to the Justice Forum, she observed. Such behavior sends the wrong message about loyalty and merit.

Tinubu-Ojo stood firm on her claims. She said Seye Oladejo won decisively in Mushin Federal Constituency and Olotu Emmanuel Ojo secured Ojokoro by a landslide.

Initially, she'd chosen patience over immediate action. Her team decided to wait and see how party bosses would respond to their complaints.

"We are ready to protest," she reiterated with conviction. "We know they won the election and their mandate should not be given to somebody else."

Market women must have greater say in governance and decision-making, she emphasized repeatedly. Lagos cannot move forward without their voices.

Party leaders, she warned, must act decisively on these grievances. Failure to do so risks deepening the rifts already visible within the APC.
