Tinubu Appoints Lawal Ja’afar Isa as Head of Almajiri Commission and Tijani Hashim Abbas as Special Assistant on Chieftaincy Matters

President Bola Tinubu has made two significant appointments in his administration’s drive to improve the education system in Nigeria.

In a statement released on Friday evening by the Special adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, it was announced that Brigadier-General Lawal Ja’afar Isa (Rtd) has been appointed as the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education.

Additionally, Tijani Hashim Abbas has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Chieftaincy Matters.

General Ja’afar Isa, who served as Military Administrator of Kaduna State from 1993 to 1996, brings a wealth of leadership experience to his new role.

Meanwhile, Tijani Hashim Abbas, the Sarkin Sudan Kano, is well-versed in the intricacies of chieftaincy matters and is expected to excel in his position as well.

The President anticipates that these appointments will have a significant impact on the very core of society, as they work to ensure that Nigeria’s out-of-school children receive the most comprehensive education possible.

This initiative is a priority for the Tinubu administration, which aims to prioritize the superceding interest of the nation’s future.

As these new appointees settle into their roles, the public will be watching closely to see how their vast experience and expertise contribute to the development and progress of the education sector in Nigeria.
