Terrorists Attack Southern Kaduna, Claim Six Lives and Injure Others

Terrorists launched a deadly attack on the Ambe community in the Sanga Local Government Area of Southern Kaduna late Sunday night, leaving a trail of death and destruction.
The incident resulted in the tragic loss of at least six lives and left eight others injured, according to a reliable source familiar with the situation.
Federal lawmaker Daniel Amos, representing Jema’a/Sanga federal constituency, confirmed the attack in a statement released on Monday in Kaduna State.
He condemned the ruthless assault and urged security agencies to apprehend the perpetrators and ensure they face the full consequences of their actions.
Expressing deep sadness over the incident, Amos lamented the loss of innocent lives and emphasized the importance of promoting peaceful coexistence among the diverse communities in the region, irrespective of differences.
He reassured the residents of Sanga LGA of his commitment to their safety and well-being and promised to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure security measures are strengthened in the area.
Attempts to reach Mansir Hassan, the spokesperson of the Kaduna State Police Command, for official confirmation and further details about the attack, proved futile.
The recent attack in Southern Kaduna is a stark reminder of the ongoing security challenges in the region, which have also been highlighted in other states, including Katsina, Gombe, and Ondo.
Federal lawmakers have urged the government to take decisive action to end the persistent bandits’ attacks in these areas.
As the people of Southern Kaduna mourn the loss of their loved ones and come to terms with the aftermath of the attack, the need for enhanced security measures and community resilience becomes increasingly crucial.
The incident underscores the importance of continued efforts to foster peace and unity among the diverse communities in the region, as well as the urgent need for security agencies to take proactive measures to prevent such attacks from happening in the future.
