Stop Exploiting the Deceased Governor’s Name for Political Gain”: Late Akeredolu’s Ex-Spokesperson Warns Aiyedatiwa

Richard Olatunde, the former Chief Press Secretary to the late Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has strongly condemned the actions of the current Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

Olatunde accused Aiyedatiwa of exploiting the deceased governor’s name for political gains.

Olatunde’s statement comes in response to Aiyedatiwa’s claim that the late governor wished for him to succeed as the governor of Ondo State.

The current governor had mentioned that the deceased leader considered him part of his legacies and would have been proud to see him as the next governor.

However, Olatunde has refuted these claims, stating that the late governor never wished for Aiyedatiwa to succeed him.

He added that the relationship between the two had become strained and distant until Akeredolu’s passing.

According to Olatunde, the late governor was disappointed and regretful of certain behaviors and character traits displayed by Aiyedatiwa during his health challenges.

He also mentioned that Akeredolu’s family and followers do not support Aiyedatiwa’s aspiration to clinch the ticket of the party.

Olatunde warned Aiyedatiwa to stop these deceptive tactics and focus on his campaign.

He stressed that the late governor’s family and followers do not support Aiyedatiwa’s aspirations.

The political atmosphere in Ondo State is intensifying as the gubernatorial election approaches.

Both sides are making strong statements and claims, which will undoubtedly impact the outcome of the election.

It remains to be seen how this latest development will affect the political landscape in the state.
