Soaring Profits: Investing in Airport Transportation Business

Transportation services at airports across the country have become increasingly popular and in high demand.

From shared shuttle buses or cars to private hired car services catering to different needs and budgets, these transportation options provide various choices for travelers.

The demand for taxi services has been significantly boosted due to the increased presence of schools, commercial establishments, residential areas, and the airport itself.

As these locations are high-traffic and often require efficient and reliable transportation options, the need for taxis has become more relevant.

Investing in an airport transportation business can be a lucrative venture, with some individuals operating the vehicles on a lease or paying daily remittance to the owners.

The profitability of this business is evident, as airport cab operators can deliver substantial weekly profits to vehicle owners.

For example, a driver operating a car can deliver N30,000 weekly, while a bus driver can deliver N7,000 daily due to the higher capacity of seats.

To work in this environment, one must fill out a form and register with the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

The vehicle must also conform to the standards set by the authority, and a certain fee must be paid for access to the toll gate for a year.

Additionally, union fees must be paid, with cars paying N40,000 and buses paying N60,000.

It is important for vehicles to adhere to the prescribed blue paint to ensure they are easily identifiable as legitimate airport shuttle service providers.

With the continuous growth of the aviation industry and the increasing demand for transportation services, investing in an airport transportation business can be a wise decision, providing a steady stream of income for vehicle owners and operators.
