Shettima Urges Governors to Support Tinubu in Raising Nigeria to New Heights

In a gathering of Nigeria’s political leaders, Vice President Kashim Shettima called for governors and members of the National Assembly to support President Bola Tinubu in taking Nigeria to greater heights.

The meeting, which took place on April 13, 2024, included Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, among others, as reported by Nigerian News.

Shettima emphasized the need for unity and collaboration among all stakeholders to achieve shared prosperity and a brighter future for the country.

He expressed optimism about Nigeria’s economic resurgence, urging all to rally around President Tinubu to elevate the nation to a higher pedestal.

Senate President Akpabio commended the state governors for adopting Tinubu’s inclusive leadership style and expressed confidence in the President’s leadership and broad support across political divides.

Governor AbdulRazaq of Kwara State praised the President’s efforts in stabilizing the economy and improving living conditions.

He acknowledged the positive developments in the country, such as the stabilization of the exchange rate and decreasing food prices, attributing these improvements to the President’s initiatives.

The call for collaboration and support from the Vice President underscores the importance of collective efforts in achieving national development goals and ensuring a prosperous future for Nigeria under President Tinubu’s leadership.
