Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has issued a stern warning to local government chairmen in the state who show disrespect towards him and his administration.
Speaking at the commissioning of a Comprehensive Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Ndoni, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area, donated by former Governor Peter Odili, Fubara expressed disappointment in the lack of participation by some local government chairmen in state government activities due to their divided loyalties.
Governor Fubara emphasized that his administration is committed to providing quality education and healthcare services to the people of Rivers State, despite criticisms labeling him and his team as “clueless.”
He reiterated his focus on delivering critical projects that benefit the people, such as the recently awarded Elele-Egbeda-Omoku road.
Fubara’s remarks were a clear indication of his determination to lead the state in a direction that prioritizes the needs and aspirations of the people, regardless of political affiliations.
He emphasized that those who disrespect him and his administration have already dug their own pit, hinting at potential consequences for such actions.
The governor’s strong stance against disrespect and his commitment to development projects reflect his vision for a united and prosperous Rivers State.
As he continues to navigate the challenges of governance, Governor Fubara’s leadership aims to prioritize the welfare and well-being of the people, setting a course for progress and unity in the state.
