QNET has praised the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps for its recent Lagos operation. The crackdown rescued trafficking victims and arrested suspects involved in fraud and unlawful detention.

In a statement released Wednesday, the global wellness company firmly rejected any connection to the criminal network. Officials said the alleged activities uncovered by NSCDC have nothing to do with legitimate business operations.

Biram Fall, QNET's regional general manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, expressed sympathy for those affected. He urged the public to verify information through official channels before trusting anyone claiming to represent the company.

"Our thoughts are with those who have been affected by this unfortunate situation," Fall said. "We wish to reiterate that QNET does not offer jobs, overseas employment opportunities, visa services, or financial guarantees in exchange for payment."

Fall noted that such promises rank among the most common tactics used by fraudsters. Protecting the public remains a key priority for the company.

Criminals across Africa increasingly exploit the names of multinational brands to run scams. They target job seekers through social media, informal recruitment channels and word-of-mouth referrals.

QNET operates a strict zero-tolerance policy against fraud and misrepresentation. Any independent distributor who violates the company's Code of Ethics faces possible termination.

Since entering Nigeria in 2022 through its local partner Transblue Limited, QNET has stepped up collaboration with government agencies. The company has worked with consumer protection bodies and law enforcement institutions to combat scams linked to its name.

Last year, QNET launched the "Say NO!" Anti-Fraud Campaign across Nigeria. The initiative aims to educate Nigerians about fraudulent recruitment schemes and business opportunity scams.

The company has partnered with the Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency and the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment. Both organizations have supported consumer awareness initiatives.

Growing concern surrounds the way fraud syndicates exploit established corporate brands. Unsuspecting job seekers receive false promises of overseas employment and quick financial rewards.

QNET condemned all forms of human trafficking, exploitation and unlawful detention. Officials described the alleged activities as criminal acts entirely separate from the company's operations.

Similar anti-scam campaigns have been rolled out beyond Nigeria. QNET continues expanding its regional efforts to educate consumers about fraudulent schemes.
