President Tinubu’s Meeting with Ganduje and APC State Chairmen: A Focus on Agriculture, Economic Diversification, and Social Security

President Bola Tinubu recently met with the Forum of State Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the State House in Abuja to discuss important matters concerning Nigeria’s development.

During the meeting, the President emphasized the importance of agriculture and economic diversification in addressing the nation’s food crisis.

Tinubu declared that Nigeria would no longer rely on food imports as his administration invests in mechanized farming to boost food production.

He said, “Yesterday’s crisis will become today’s opportunity. Fertilizers are being supplied to farmers as we speak. Agriculture and economic diversification provide the answers to our problems.

We will not continue to import food. We know how to turn lack into abundance, and the world will watch us do it again.”

The President also addressed the challenges posed by corruption, smuggling, and subsidy beneficiaries.

He assured Nigerians that his government is working tirelessly to improve their quality of life and urged grassroots leaders to encourage citizens to obtain their National Identification Number (NIN) for effective planning and intervention implementation.

“As we are fighting corruption, smugglers, and old subsidy beneficiaries, they most certainly will fight back.

All those who falsified records and became losers with the subsidy (on petroleum products) removal will fight back,” said President Tinubu.

The President emphasized the importance of revitalizing the economy and urged party members to promote good governance and exemplary civic engagement without waiting for appointments.

He also revealed that his administration has developed a comprehensive plan for extensive livestock farming, which will be implemented in the near future.

President Tinubu’s administration is committed to safeguarding the interests of all Nigerians.

He has urged the party’s state chairmen to educate citizens about the benefits of NIN registration and to mobilize them for this purpose. He stressed that social security interventions for vulnerable citizens cannot be effectively implemented
