In a meeting with the Forum of State Chairmen of the All Progressives’ Congress (APC), the president emphasized that the government would not allow the abuse of the nation’s treasury and that they were working tirelessly to improve the living conditions of all Nigerians.

President Tinubu highlighted the government’s focus on large-scale livestock farming and the promotion of agriculture and economic diversification as key solutions to the country’s problems.

He also mentioned plans for student loans, a national consumer credit system, and social welfare for the unemployed and graduates, ensuring that every Nigerian will find a place of belonging in the country.

The president stressed the importance of fighting corruption and smuggling, as well as addressing subsidy beneficiaries.

He acknowledged that these efforts would face resistance but vowed to defend the people. Additionally, he urged party chairmen in all states to mobilize citizens to register for the National Identification Number, emphasizing the importance of accurate data for effective policy implementation.

As the administration works to reposition the economy, President Tinubu called on party members to engage in exemplary civic engagement, regardless of their appointment status.
