President Tinubu assigns 18 aides to work with VP Shettima

President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of 18 aides to assist Vice President Kashim Shettima in implementing the agenda of the Federal Government across various sectors of the economy.

According to the statement, the appointees will work in the office of the Vice President, supporting the “Renewed Hope” agenda of the Tinubu administration.

The list of appointees and their portfolios are as follows:

  • Rukaiya El-Rufai, Special Adviser (SAD) to the President on NEC and Climate Change
  • Tope Kolade Fasua, Special Adviser (SAD) to the President on Economic Matters
  • Aliyu Modibbo Umar, Special Adviser (SAD), General Duties
  • Hakeem Baba Ahmed, Special Adviser (SAD) on Political Matters
  • Jumoke Oduwole, Special Adviser (SAD) to the President on PEBEC and Investment
  • Sadiq Wanka, Special Adviser (SAD) to the President on Power Infrastructure
  • Usman Mohammed, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Administration and Office Coordination
  • Kingsley Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications
  • Ishaq Ahmed Ningi, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital Media and Emergency Management
  • Peju Adebajo, Senior Special Assistant to the President, Investment and Privatisation
  • Mohammed Bulama, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political and Special Duties
  • Kingsley Uzoma, Senior Special Assistant to the President, Agricbusiness and Productivity Enhancement
  • Gimba Kakanda, Senior Special Assistant to the President, Research & Analytics
  • Temitola Adekunle-Johnson, Senior Special Assistant to the President, Job Creation and MSMEs
  • Nasir Yammama, Senior Special Assistant to the President, Innovation
  • Zainab Yunusa, Senior Special Assistant to the President on NEC
  • Mariam Temitope, Senior Special Assistant to the President, Regional Development Programmes
  • Bashir Maidugu, Deputy State House Counsel (Senior Special Assistant to the President)

The statement congratulated the appointees and urged them to discharge their duties with diligence and professionalism. It also expressed confidence that they would contribute positively to the realisation of the vision and mission of the Tinubu administration.
