President Tinubu Approves Key Appointments for FCT Civil Service Commission and Mandate Secretaries

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has recently approved the appointment of the Chairman and Commissioners for the FCT Civil Service Commission, as well as key positions for mandate secretaries and other critical agencies within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Engr. Emeka Ezeh has been appointed as the Chairman of the FCT Civil Service Commission, while the North West, South-South, North East, North Central, South West, and South East regions are represented by Ahmed Mohammed, Chief Anthony Okeah, Mohammed Magaji Ibrahim, Miskoom Alexander Naantuam, Jide Jimoh, and Barrister Martin Azubike, respectively.

In addition to these appointments, Mr. Atang Udo Samuel has been appointed as the Head of the Civil Service, and the president has also approved permanent secretaries for mandate secretaries.

These include Dr Adam Babagana and Wanki Adamu Ibrahim for the North East, Asmau Mukhtar and Dogo Aliyu Wadata Bodinga for the North West, Olusa Olusegun and Adetoyi Rabiu Kolawole for the South West, and Grace Adayilo and Olubunmi Olowookere for the North Central.

The South East and South South regions will be represented by Ibe Prospect Chukwuemeka and Okonkwo Florence Nonubari, respectively.

Furthermore, President Tinubu has also approved the appointment of key personnel to fill existing vacancies in some critical agencies of the FCTA.

These appointments include Abdulkadir Zulkarfi as the Coordinator of the Satellite Towns Development Department, Chief Felix Obuah as the Coordinator of the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council, and Oladiran Olufemi Akindele as the Coordinator of the Abuja Infrastructure Investment Council (AIIC).

These appointments are aimed at strengthening the governance and administration of the FCT and its agencies, and to ensure that the development of the Federal Capital Territory remains on track.
