Osun Governor Adeleke Moves into Refurbished Government House, Vows to Upgrade State Assets

Governor Ademola Adeleke has moved into the newly refurbished Government House after an official unveiling ceremony on Saturday afternoon.

The event brought together top officials, dignitaries, and religious leaders to witness the commissioning of the upgraded facilities.

During his address to the assembled guests, Governor Adeleke emphasized his administration’s commitment to upgrading state assets, regardless of whether they were inherited or initiated during his tenure.

He stressed the importance of preserving and enhancing government infrastructure for the benefit of current and future generations.

The extensive rehabilitation project encompassed various aspects of the Government House, including the main building, the completion of an abandoned multi-bedroom Guest House, remodeling of several structures, and the refurbishment of derelict facilities.

The entire premises received a facelift, marking a substantial improvement in the state’s administrative infrastructure.

In attendance at the ceremony were key figures such as Deputy Governor Prince Kola Adewusi, House Speaker Hon Adewale Egbedun, Secretary to the State Government Hon Teslim Igbalaye, Chief of Staff Hon Kazeem Akinleye, and members of the State Executive Council.

Clerics representing various faiths were also present to offer blessings, underscoring the significance of the occasion.

Governor Adeleke highlighted the importance of upgrading state assets, stating, “We are truly fixated on sustaining the delivery of good governance.”

He emphasized the need for government continuity and the importance of maintaining and upgrading old structures for effective usage of the state.

The event was graced by the presence of HRH, Oba Dokun Abolarin, the Orangun of Oke Ila, who offered royal blessings.

Prominent leaders also delivered goodwill messages, emphasizing the collaborative effort behind the rehabilitation project.

The Governor’s move into the refurbished Government House marks a new chapter in the administration’s commitment to delivering good governance and ensuring the preservation of state assets for generations to come.
