Former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has lauded Nigeria's First Lady, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her leadership and unwavering advocacy for the underprivileged.
Omo-Agege in a glowing tribute, described Mrs. Tinubu as a stateswoman who has brought new dimensions of leadership to the presidency, particularly through her focus on addressing the needs of vulnerable populations.
In a birthday message to the First Lady, signed by Sunny Areh, Media Adviser to Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, he praised her for her extensive experience in public office, noting that her tenure as a lawmaker has equipped her with an intimate understanding of Nigeria’s challenges and the policies needed for national development.
"Our First Lady transcends being a supportive wife of the President. Her vast experience in public office as a lawmaker at the apex level is a unique attribute never seen before in Nigeria. She knows every part of the country, the challenges and policy options to national development as well as how underprivileged people can be lifted out of poverty.
