The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barr. Felix Morka, has been described as a "special gift" to the party and Delta State, as he marks his 60th birthday.
In a congratulatory message, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Deputy President of the 9th Senate, praised Morka’s exceptional handling of the party’s public image, particularly in the face of intense public scrutiny. "As the ruling party, the APC has been the target of intense scrutiny, mostly dubious, of its performance in steering the ship of state," Omo-Agege noted.
He commended Morka’s calm, analytical approach in navigating the complexities of political communication in Nigeria, stating: "It requires cool-headedness, analytical mind and deep understanding of the dynamics of politics in Nigeria to be able to remain focused… Barr. Felix Morka has done these and more creditably."
Highlighting Morka’s professional integrity, Omo-Agege added, "Under your watch as National Publicity Secretary, APC has not lost the plot in the deluge of attacks and misinformation from the opposition in the media space. You have accomplished this in a dignified and responsive manner devoid of propaganda."
The senator further lauded Morka as a proud ambassador of Delta State, celebrating his professionalism and contributions. "You embody the values and aspirations of our great state, serving as an exemplary ambassador for all of us," he said.
On behalf of the APC in Delta State, Omo-Agege wished Morka "many productive years for our party and our country in excellent health."
