Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle involving four commissioners, alongside the nomination of three new members to the Governing Council of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka.
According to a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu, the governor approved the redeployment of commissioners “with immediate effect.” Under the reshuffle, Engr. Michael Ifeanyi Anoka was moved from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal to the Ministry of Energy, while Hon. Sunday Tataobuzogwu was redeployed from the Ministry of Energy to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal.
The statement further disclosed that Mrs. Rose Ezewu was reassigned from the Ministry of Secondary Education to the Ministry of Primary Education, while Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu was moved from the Ministry of Primary Education to the Ministry of Secondary Education.
In another development, Governor Oborevwori also approved the nomination of three persons into the Governing Council of DELSU, Abraka. The nominees are Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, Rt. Hon. Frank Enekorogha, and Charles Ajuyah, SAN.
The statement added that “the inauguration of the Governing Council members will be announced in due course,” assuring that further details would be communicated by the state government.
