Oborevwori celebrates Guwor at 47, hails Speaker’s steady hand in Delta Assembly

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, on his 47th birth anniversary, praising his leadership and contributions to legislative stability in the state.

In a goodwill message issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Festus Ahon, the governor joined family members, lawmakers, constituents, and associates in celebrating the Speaker, whom he described as a purposeful and dedicated leader.

“On behalf of my family, the government and the people of Delta State, I heartily congratulate the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor… on the occasion of his 47th birth anniversary,” Oborevwori stated.

The governor commended Guwor, who also serves as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria, for his role in promoting legislative excellence and advancing policies that support Delta State's development.

He noted that under Guwor’s leadership, the House of Assembly has maintained stability, fostering cooperation and mutual respect among the arms of government.

Oborevwori further applauded the legislature for sustaining a seamless lawmaking process, particularly in the passage of impactful bills and resolutions aimed at improving the welfare of Deltans.

According to him, the Speaker’s commitment to people-oriented governance and his ability to steer the Assembly with focus and wisdom have strengthened democratic institutions in the state.

The governor also highlighted the synergy between the legislative arm and his administration, noting that the alignment with the MORE Agenda has accelerated development across key sectors in Delta State.

Observers say Guwor’s leadership has been instrumental in ensuring harmony within the Assembly while supporting the state's broader governance objectives.
