Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has called on the federal and state governments to create a more enabling environment for businesses to thrive in Nigeria.
The Chairman of Cubana Group made this appeal during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on the sidelines of a conference organized by Gavice Logistics on igniting innovation.
Speaking at the event, which took place in Victoria Island, Lagos, Obi Cubana emphasized the importance of good roads and security for the logistics sector, as well as the need for the government to address multiple taxations and insecurity issues.
He pointed out that these measures would make life easier for Nigerian youth and boost entrepreneurship in the country.
In addition to his call for a better business environment, Obi Cubana also encouraged young entrepreneurs to be innovative and persistent in their business endeavors.
He acknowledged that there are different seasons in business and advised business owners to be prepared to face challenges and continue striving for success.
The business magnate and philanthropist stressed the importance of innovation and hard work, urging young entrepreneurs to stay committed to their goals despite the challenges they may face.
He emphasized that the ability to overcome hurdles and adapt to changing circumstances is key to achieving success in business.
As Nigeria continues to grapple with issues such as poor infrastructure, insecurity, and multiple taxations, Obi Cubana’s call to action serves as a reminder of the importance of creating an environment that fosters growth and opportunity for the nation’s youth.
By addressing these challenges, the government can help pave the way for a more prosperous and innovative future for Nigeria.
