NYSC reaffirms commitment to offering start-up loans to corps members

The NYSC has pledged to support corps members who want to become entrepreneurs with loans from financial partners.

This was announced by the NYSC Bauchi State Coordinator, Mrs. Rifkatu Yakubu, on Thursday at the end of the 2023 Batch “C” stream II orientation course.

She said that starting a business would boost self-reliance and enable corps members to add value to the economy.

She also appealed to the employers of corps members to guide them well so that they can unleash their potential for national growth.

“My fervent wish is that the corps members will live up to the expectations of Nigerians by working for the advancement and prosperity of our nation.

“The NYSC is working with financial institutions and other stakeholders to offer loans to help them achieve their business goals,” she said.

She advised the corps members to always maintain the spirit of loyalty, diligence, and perseverance learned during the orientation course throughout their service year and beyond.
