Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, on Thursday visited the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs to advance discussions on infrastructure development within the Niger Delta, particularly for Delta North.

Welcomed by Minister, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, the senator emphasized collaborative strategies and potential projects for 2025.

His visit aligns with previous discussions with the Minister of Works, David Umahi, and Engineer Chukwuemeka Agbasi, Managing Director of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA).

In these recent meetings, Senator Nwoko expressed pressing concerns regarding the deteriorating condition of the Lagos-Asaba Expressway, especially the hazardous section between Alifekide and Asaba Bridge End, where road conditions have led to numerous accidents and fatalities.

Thanks to these strategic engagements, repairs have commenced in affected areas. These initiatives reflect Senator Nwoko’s dedicated approach to ensuring that Delta North benefits from critical infrastructure improvements.
