NSCDC Collaborates with Security Agencies to Secure Release of Abducted Kaduna Students

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has assured the government and people of Kaduna State that with the collaborative efforts of security agencies, there will be a speedy recovery of the recently abducted students in the state.

Commandant General of the NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, gave the assurances during a visit to the Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani.

He emphasized the Corps’ readiness to work with all relevant security agencies to ensure that the perpetrators of the crime do not go unpunished.

The NSCDC, being a key actor in the nation’s internal security and the lead agency in the Safe Schools Initiative, is currently in strong synergy with the Nigerian Army, the Police, and other security agencies for the quick and safe return of the abducted students.

Governor Uba Sani commended the CG for the good gesture and the effective collaboration of the Corps with the Armed Forces, Nigeria Police, and the DSS among others.

He emphasized the need for all critical stakeholders to play active roles in preventing criminalities and frustrating the evil men whose delight is to disrupt the peace and stability of the State.

The CG appealed to various communities in Kaduna State to work closely with security agencies by providing actionable intelligence and information in order to achieve the desired success and results afterwards.
