NDA Announces Shooting Practice in Kaduna: Mando, Tsamiya, Kauya, and Afaka Communities Notified

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna has issued a public notification to residents of Mando, Tsamiya, Kauya, and Afaka general areas, alerting them to a scheduled shooting practice exercise.

The exercise is set to take place from April 18 to April 20 and from April 26 to April 27, 2024, and is intended for the Army cadets of the 73 and 74 Regular Courses.

In a statement released by the NDA Public Relations Officer, Maj. Mohammed Maidawa, the NDA emphasized that all necessary safety measures have been put in place to ensure the successful and secure conduct of the exercise.

The general public is advised to avoid trespassing in the designated areas throughout the period of the shooting practice.

The announcement serves as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of residents in the vicinity and to minimize any potential disruptions that may arise from the military exercise.

It also highlights the NDA’s commitment to maintaining transparency and communication with the local community regarding its training activities.
