NBA President Supports Pastor Enenche’s Questioning of Lady with ‘B.Sc in Law’

The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Yakubu Maikyau, has defended Pastor Enenche’s questioning of a lady named Vera Anyim, who claimed to have graduated from the National Open University with a B.Sc degree in Law.

Maikyau stated that no university in Nigeria offers a B.Sc in Law, and he faulted the lady for arrogating a title that does not exist.

During a testimony at the Dunamis Church in Abuja, Vera Anyim shared her story of overcoming challenges and graduating with a B.Sc in Law from NOUN.

However, her testimony sparked controversy and Pastor Enenche accused her of lying.

The NBA President agreed with Enenche’s stance, emphasizing that the legal profession does not recognize a B.Sc in Law.

Maikyau’s statement has put to rest the debate over the legitimacy of Vera Anyim’s claim and has highlighted the importance of truth and accuracy in professional qualifications.

It also serves as a reminder for individuals to be diligent in verifying the accuracy of their educational claims and for institutions to ensure the integrity of the degrees they confer.
