Nayamarie Musa Appointed Acting Women Leader of Kaduna APC

The Kaduna State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Nayamarie Musa as the state’s acting Women Leader, filling the position left vacant by the suspension of former women leader Maryam Sulaiman.

The change in leadership follows Sulaiman’s defense of the El-Rufai administration amidst controversy surrounding the state’s significant debt.

Musa, who previously served as the party’s Assistant Women Leader, has pledged to operate an inclusive administration that will help strengthen the party ahead of future elections.

In an interview at the party Secretariat on Thursday, she emphasized her commitment to serving the women in the state with dedication, integrity, and passion.

“My duty and commitment is to consolidate on the ‘Sustain Agenda’ of Governor Uba Sani to deliver effective leadership for new development heights,” said Musa.

She also highlighted that her administration would prioritize the women’s interest and run an effective, accountable, and participatory administration.

As the new acting Women Leader, Musa faces the challenge of unifying the party and addressing the concerns of the women in the state.

Her appointment comes amidst a backdrop of political instability and a focus on development and women’s issues in the region.
