NASFAT held a massive prayer gathering across Nigeria and beyond to seek peace and an end to the nation's security crisis. Thousands participated in the simultaneous event spread across the group's 360 branches worldwide.

The organization mobilized Islamic scholars, community leaders, and ordinary citizens to offer supplications for stability. They prayed for an end to banditry, kidnapping, and terrorism ravaging different regions.

Sheikh Abdul-Azeez Morufu Onike, NASFAT's Chief Missioner, spoke at the event about the country's mounting security challenges. He expressed deep worry about the persistent criminal activities affecting Nigerians.

Onike called on Muslims to intensify their prayers for the nation's restoration. He also urged citizens to work alongside government and security agencies in the fight against crime.

According to him, security personnel alone cannot solve Nigeria's problems. Citizens must cooperate with authorities, he noted, and promote peaceful living among themselves.

The Chief Missioner reminded worshippers that Allah hears sincere prayers from believers. He encouraged Nigerians to maintain hope despite the current difficulties facing the country.

"Muslims should remain strong in their faith and demonstrate patience," Onike told the congregation. He stressed the importance of avoiding actions that create division and conflict.

Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulRauf, NASFAT's President, also addressed the gathering at the prayer session. He urged Nigerians to support their leaders through constructive dialogue and genuine prayers.

AbdulRauf said national progress moves faster when citizens engage positively with government. He emphasized that prayers alone must combine with patriotism and unity.

Despite Nigeria's current troubles, citizens must stay optimistic, the president insisted. Those leading the country need divine wisdom and guidance to succeed, he added.

Prayer itself is a tool for transforming nations, AbdulRauf told participants. Citizens should match their prayers with commitment to the national good.

NASFAT remains dedicated to promoting spiritual growth and moral values in Nigeria, he said. The organization views this global prayer initiative as proof of its commitment to the country's advancement.

Special intercessions were made for President Bola Tinubu and state governors during the programme. Lawmakers and security personnel also received prayers for protection and divine direction.

Worshippers remembered those who suffered from insecurity and their bereaved families. They prayed for healing, comfort, and lasting calm in communities hit hardest by violence.

Participants left the gathering convinced that prayer combined with responsible leadership will restore peace. They believed sustained citizens' effort could bring back stability and economic growth to Nigeria.
