NANS Applauds Sanwo-Olu for Appointing Samuel as Senior Special Assistant on Tertiary Education

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has recently congratulated former NANS Southwest Coordinator, Comrade Kappo Olawale Samuel, on his appointment as the Senior Special Assistant on Tertiary Education to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

In a statement by the Clerk of Senate, NANS, Comrade Oladimeji Uthman, the association also expressed their appreciation for Governor Sanwo-Olu’s decision.

Samuel’s extensive experience in students’ activism and his contributions to the development of education have earned him this well-deserved appointment.

The NANS Senate Clerk emphasized the importance of working towards the development of education in Lagos State and the nation at large.

The appointment of Comrade Kappo Samuel Olawale is an example of the critical role students’ leaders have played in promoting national development and is a recognition of their positive impact on society.

The NANS Senate Clerk called on all students and stakeholders to support Samuel as he takes up this new position of service in the state.

The students’ movement also reiterated their readiness to work with the Lagos State Government to achieve great exploits in the education sector, emphasizing the need for a quality education system that will produce well-equipped graduates who can compete globally.

The NANS Senate Clerk urged the Lagos State Government to involve students’ representatives in policy-making decisions that affect the education sector.

The NANS Senate Clerk thanked Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for his vision, belief in empowering students’ leaders, and giving them a representative who will champion the interests of students and work towards achieving great exploits in the education sector.
