The Executive Director, Finance and Administration of the Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission, Hon. John Nani has commended the Supreme Court for rising above partisanship, pressure and sentiments in determining the Election appeal filed by Chief Great Ogboru of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
He commended the forthrightness, diligence and industry of the Supreme Court justice.
Nani while congratulating His Excellency, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa for his victory at the Supreme Court, described it as a victory for democracy and Deltans who faithfully dedicated their energy to re-elect the governor for another term in office.
According to him, “I would like to particularly felicitate with our amiable Governor and our great party, the PDP for this well earned victory at the Supreme Court which put a final nail on the coffin of the opposition in the state.

“Suffice to say that, in spite of the shenanigans and grandstanding by the opposition leading to this historic judgement, our dear Governor remained unperturbed and resolute in his desire to deliver good governance and a stronger Delta that is peaceful and buoyant in human resources and industry. Now that the matter has been put to bed, His Excellency will redouble his efforts at accelerating development in all spheres within our political space.
He urged the opposition candidate to join hand with the Gov. Okowa-led administration to achieve its stated objectives.
