Maris Lecture 2023: Daphey To Take Care Of Hospitality As Onyia Decorates Unity Hall

 

Few hours to the year 2023 edition of Maris Annual Public Service Lecture, Chief Chinonye Daphey, has volunteered to provide refreshment for the participants.

Also, Pastor Anthony Onyia of St. Claire and Events, has said that his company will decorate Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba, venue of the lecture billed to hold on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 12 noon.

Secretary, Maris Trust Council, organisers of the lecture, Comrade Fidelis Egugbo, made the disclosure on Tuesday morning in Asaba.

According to him, “with God using men of goodwill, we can tell the world that all is set for the year 2023 edition of Maris Annual Public Service Lecture which will be delivered by Chief Sir Fidelis Tilije.

“Reactions trailing the choice of Chief Tilije to speak on the topic, Provision Of Infrastructure As Catalyst For Growth Of Democraric Governments, have shown that we shall have unprecedented number of participants at this year’s lecture.

“The Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, CON, his predecessor in office, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, CON and the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly who is the Governor-elect of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

“Wife of former Deputy Governor of Delta State, Lady Esther Elue is the Mother of the Day and Rev. Fr. John Konyeke is Father of the Day.

“Multi-billionaire businessman, Dr. Gabriel Ogbechie, OON, is Father of Occasion which Dr. Festus Okubor, Dr. Augustina Erah, Comrade Olumami Oyibo and Dr Paul Oweh will be discussants while Dr. Kemi Emina will be the Moderator.

“Chief Chinonye Daphey, has assured us that hospitality of all those participating in the lecture will be taken care of by her.

“She said that the Guest Speaker, Chief Tilije, has done a lot for humanity and that she will contribute her quota for the lecture to be successful.

“Also, Pastor Onyia, former Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Oshimili South Local Government Area of Delta State, stated that from the opening of Maris Schools, Okpanam which gave birth to the lecture series that St. Claire Events have always identified with the Maris Trust Council and this year’s event is unique coming few weeks after the 2023 general elections.”

Egugbo, thanked those who are making sacrifice in several ways for the lecture to be a success and expressed confidence that with God, it is always possible.
